Our house, Summer 1989

Yes, our house was originally a barn that housed two horses. We don’t smell them anymore.

These doors are where the original barn doors were.

This is the view from the doors seen above. Charlie is warming up the table for us.

East side of our yard, Summer 2019. The pond had many goldfish but various critters ate them up. Someday I’ll dig the pond real deep and build a sturdy hideaway for the goldfish that even bears can’t break.

I built this swing for Niki’s birthday in 2016. During the Summer, Niki and I spend a lot of time here at dusk, watching the sun go down. We used to enjoy seeing bats but recent events have left us a little bat shy.

Our east-side walk way, where we allow anything beautiful to grow. The ground-cover is Creeping Jenny that is actually a healing herb.

Gophers and deer don’t seem to like it which makes me like it even more.

During the Summer of 2017, I built a deck on the east side of our house.
